Streaming music is fast, convenient and cheap and at Todd’s many of our music devices are able to access these wonderful databases.Yet the question is which of these services the best value is for money. Well when you are not in our stores, we are listening to music and testing these services. So we have compiled a list of what we think the best services are along with their cost. Deezer

A Standard type and play database but is restricted to 2 hours play on the free trial version per month

Our Opinion: Not good Enough but it does have one of the largest databases of music

JB Hi-Fi NOW

A Standard type and play database but is restricted to 2 hours play on the free trial version per month

Our Opinion: Not good Enough

MOG

MOG is run by Telstra, which means data downloaded via BigPond or NextG doesn’t count against usage limits. The free trial runs for 14 days.

Our Opinion: While the trial is a bit limited, the selection of music  is vast!

Pandora

Pandora is a not a database but rather an interactive database. You choose a song/album/artist and Pandora creates a station for you, suggesting music as you go. You get the chance to like or dislike the suggested songs. Best of all it is FREE

Rdio

Rdio like the others is a database yet like deezer is a huge database

Samsung Music Hub

Samsung music  hub, is an attempt by Samsung to enter this market. In our opinion if you do not give your heart to something it probably is not worth doing

Sony Music Unlimited

Like with Samsung, there is just no heart here

Spotify

Now for the best database streaming service, Spotify is well priced, has a great selection and Is available on many devices. They are our pick for the best
