In my 36 years of experience I can tell you with hand on heart that few systems sold in non specialist stores achieve this. I can also assure you that it doesn't cost much more to get true value in fidelity from equipment that reproduces sound and vision.
My son Nathan has grown up in this industry and been an audio visual consultant like myself for 14 years. I like to use the analogy of comparing designing, installing and calibrating HI Fi equipment to a restaurant presenting a menu, cooking the food and presenting to the diner.
