Yamaha developed the only true wireless systems back in 2005 with the revolutionary YSP-1. Since then the technology has advanced considerably with the YSP-5100 the perfect example of this. Using exclusive Yamaha technology, the YSP-5100 produces beams of sound that bounce around the room, producing true 7.1 channel surround sound. And with HD Audio decoding, iPod and iPhone connectivity via the included wireless transmitter and an FM tuner, the YSP-5100 is the premium sound bar in the market today. The same width as 50” televisions, it is the ideal audio companion to your large flat panel television.

Yamaha Sound Projectors (YSP) work by using your walls as speakers. The YSP-5100 acoustically calibrates your room and works out where to bounce audio from the walls to ensure you receive the best quality surround sound.

Wireless iPod Dock

YSP5100 Wireless iPod Dock

Using the included iPod dock you can have audio streamed wirelessly from your iPod to your YSP-5100. Simply plug in the supplied dongle accessory to bottom of your iPod and press play on your selected track. The YSP-5100 will turn on, go to the iPod input and begin to play. Best of all, you have volume control and track selection in your hand just by scrolling on your iPod.

The YSP-5100 has four HDMI inputs. That’s probably enough to connect everything you’ve got, and then some. With each HDMI input supporting 1080p video and able to take all the new HD audio formats, the YSP-5100 is definitely the one stop shop for video and audio.

Designed to fit

Designers went the all the way with YSP-5100. Not only does it have all the features listed, but it was also designed to match the width of a 50-inch panel. If your panel has been mounted to a wall, don’t worry. The YSP-5100 can also be mounted (with the SPMK-30 bracket) directly below to ensure it fits discreetly.
