Optimised 3D Performance
The HC7900DW is equipped to provide the optimum 3D viewing experience. Features include quick-response DLP™ pixel elements that minimise crosstalk, a 3D compatible frame rate converter for minimal image lag, and reduced flicker in white picture areas through the use of an additional 120Hz conversion process. The HC7900DW has also been designed to work with general-use 3D glasses available in the market.
(NOTE: Please confirm compatibility of the 3D Glasses with your Hi-Fi specialist store before purchase. Only Infra-red 3D glasses can be used.)
High Precision 2D-3D Conversion
Enjoy your favourite classic films like never before with the HC7900DW's built-in 2D-3D conversion feature. Unlike other simpler 2D-3D conversion methods where the entire screen is shifted to produce the 3D effect, the HC7900DW uses motion-vector analysis technology for more accurate 3D conversion. Using this technology, the position of a person or object is distinguished from the background, then a moderate parralax is added to produce a natural sensation of depth.
New Optical Engine for improved contrast up to 150,000:1
The HC7900DW features both a fixed iris and variable iris in its newly designed optical engine, delivering excellent transitions between light and dark scenes as well as minimal light leakage.
HC7900DW Optical Engine
High 1500 ANSI Lumen Brightness
In addition to the new optical engine, the HC7900DW includes a high powered lamp for enhanced image brightness and control. Both 2D and 3D images appear clearer, sharper and more vivid.
High Performance Extra-Low Dispersion Lens
The HC7900DW is equipped with an extra-low dispersion (ED) lens system comprised of 13 lenses in 4 groups. This system keeps chromatic abberation to a minimum with improved image sharpness right to the edges of the screen.
Independent Colour Management Function
The HC7900DW allows for the independent Hue, Saturation and Brightness adjustment of the R(red), G(green), B(blue), C(cyan), M(magenta) and Y(yellow) colours. It's also possible to set all the other colours to monotone when adjusting a specific colour, making it easier to tune colours to your preference.
Built in Frame Rate Converter (FRC) Chip
By sampling previous and succeeding image frames, the HC7900DW is able to create the optimal number of frames depending on the content being reproduced. This image interpolation results in the playback of fast moving images that are free of blurring.
Backlit Remote Control with 3D I/R pause feature
The remote control for the HC7900DW includes backlit buttons for easy use in darkened home theatre areas. Additionally, the remote includes a 3D Sync Pause button, which allows the user to temporarily disable the Infrared (I/R) signal from the 3D emitter, preventing any interference with other remotes that may be in use.
RS232C Control
For remote managment and control of the projector from a third party system .
Dual HDMI Inputs (3D/Deep Colour compatible)
Long Lamp Life up to 5000 hours
Quiet Operating Volume - 23dBA in Low Mode
